The COVID-19 pandemic brought recognition to one of our services, that of surface cleaning and disinfection in hospitals, commercial, industrial and even residential environments. Right from the start of the crisis, we had to do our part to help fight this virus.
Our employees respond positively to the call for prevention
When it’s time to roll up their sleeves, our employees are “on the job”! They agreed to act as a barrier to the COVID-19 pandemic as soon as the requests came in. But remember, disinfection isn’t done just any old way. So we made sure we had a good training review to ensure our actions were effective.
Available days and evenings over 7 days
We had to recruit and train as requests came in. In order to respond as quickly as possible to requests, we decided to reduce our availability for this service to the Montérégie and Montreal regions.
What qualities are sought in disinfection operators?
Like many other companies, we’re also constantly on the lookout for employees during this global pandemic. Here’s what we’re looking for in employees:
- Men and women available day and night, weekdays and weekends.
- They say you’re meticulous or pay attention to detail.
- If you have experience in building hygiene and sanitation, that’s excellent.
- You’ll receive initial training to ensure that your work is effective.
- You are willing to work in a hospital environment such as CHSLD and hospitals, or in commercial, industrial or other buildings.
- We supply uniforms and personal protective equipment.
What does our surface cleaning and disinfection service include?
Disinfection must be carried out on a previously cleaned surface. So we need to assess the work to be done before we even start. The rooms to be cleaned and disinfected must be kept clear for effective work.
We may or may not supply disinfection products, accessories and equipment. We’re already on the lookout for approved products that are effective in eliminating bacteria and viruses, such as COVID-19.
Our employees have already received basic training in housekeeping and surface cleaning and disinfection.
And of course, our employees receive a work order defining the work to be carried out, with which product, accessories and equipment. The work procedure is clearly defined.
